Hi guys! Today I thought I would share with you a bronzer that I have been showing a lot of love to recently. This is saying something, as I usually cannot be without my Benefit Hoola Bronzer. This though has been doing the job in it’s place quite nicely. I may even go as far as saying I actually prefer it. Yup, that’s a big claim!
So what is it about it that I love so much?
If you a fair girl, like myself, then it can be difficult to get the balance between creating a natural glow and a more obvious bronzed look. Most bronzers just leave me looking orange, not the look I’m going for. I’m also not a fan of anything shimmery, the shimmer just defeats the point of trying to create a natural glow. It’s just too obvious.
This is where Lord & Berry’s Sunny bronzer is perfect for me. This translates on my fair skin as a very natural looking hint of colour. There is not a hint of orange to be seen. Further more the formula is super matte so there’s no tell tale sparkly residue. Another point worth mentioning is that there is no hint of chalkiness or fall out either.
I use my real techniques finishing brush to apply, sweeping over my cheeks, temples and forehead in the shape of a 3. I then take the brush down the middle of my nose, as that is an area that would also naturally catch the sun.
Whislt it’s true that the Hoola bronzer has the required matte quality it’s just translates a tad to dark when compared with The Lord & Berry offering. Basically This is a better match for my skin tone. It’s also a few quid cheaper, priced £18 from Look fantastic.
It’s worth bearing in mind that if you have a darker skin tone this particular bronzer probably is too light for you. I could see it leaving you disappointed. For fair skins girls like myself though this is one worth a look.
Have you tried Lord & Berry’s Sunny bronzer before? What did you think?
Bye for now, Katy 🙂
