The January Look Fantastic Beauty Box

Two things I love in life are a beauty subscription box, and a good money saving deal.

Well thank the Lord for The Look Fantastic beauty box, as it has both of these covered.

Before Christmas I signed up for the 12 month subscription package meaning I now have a whole year of goodies to look forward to. This also means I get my box for £11.25 a month instead of £15.

Unlike other subscription services Look Fantastic charge you monthly as opposed to in one lump sum for their discounted packages, which for me would have been impossible. I know it means I’m commited for a year but I have had several Look Fantastic boxes in the past and have never been disappointed.

So, enough waffling, let’s take a look inside this months box.

With it being January, the focus for this months box is on detoxing your beauty regime. Having received this type of themed box in the past from other subscription services my experience has been they tend to be a bit on the uninspiring side. So I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case here.

Fortunately there isn’t one product included in this box that I wasn’t excited to be trying out.

Kebelo Clarifying shampoo – I can’t say I’ve heard of the brand Kebelo before. I have been wanting to pick up a clarifying shampoo for a while though so was pleased to see this included.

I’ve used this once after swimming and was happy with how it left my hair feeling. Think that squeaky clean feeling but without stripping it of moisture.

Kebelo Silk Conditioner – A girl can never have too much conditioner. This one gets ticks for being both Paraben and Sulphate free.

I used this after the clarifying conditioner and I have to say the two work well together. I feel I’ve had a run of good hair days since using this.

Darphin Azahar cleansing micellar water – One thing the French do well is skincare, so I’m always pleased to see a French skincare brand in a subscription box.

I haven’t tried anything from Darphin before so I’m keen to see how I get on with this. It’s too early though for me to give a proper opinion on this as I’ve only used it once or twice. I shall let you know in the future.

Nuxe Nuxellence Detox – So we have another French skincare brand. This is a night time treatment that promises to make your skin appear more radiant and rejuvenated.

I haven’t used it yet as I have been finishing up another serum. I’m looking forward to trying this out soon as Nuxe is one of my favourite skincare brands.

Dr Lancer The Method: Polish – This is another brand that I haven’t tried before.

At £60 for the full size product this falls into the crazy expensive category for me, so I’m expecting it to be a miracle product.
I’m usually nervous about trying out new facial scrub type products as I’ve been know to react.

I’ve used this once with no adverse reaction so I’m going to continue with and do a full review post in a couple of weeks.

Bellapierre Shimmer Shadow – I’m always happy to see make-up included in a subscription box.

This is such a pretty shade! It’s also 100% hypoallergenic so perfect for my sensitive eyes.

So that’s everything inside January’s Look Fantastic box. I super happy with everything included, there isn’t one product I won’t get use out of.

Have you tried any of these products before? What did you think of them?
